Discover the unique profile of Pinot Noir, a still, dry red wine showcasing the distinctive character of Pinot Noir from the Eastern Mediterranean. Produced from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown on the Fitra hill in Aoura, and the village of Kfarshleyman, North Lebanon, at 900 meters altitude, this wine reflects the region’s rich terroir.

Handpicked at the end of August, the grapes are gently de-stemmed and fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks before aging for 6 months in French oak barrels. This careful process enhances the wine’s elegant complexity.

With delicate aromas of black and red berries, the palate is light to medium-bodied, featuring high acidity and medium tannins. Flavors of raspberry and strawberry are enriched by earthy notes of mushroom and dried herbs.

Perfect with pork, filet mignon, game dishes, stews, wild mushrooms, or root vegetables. Pair it with classics like Beef Bourguignon or enjoy with Chinese barbecue or crispy duck. Brie, Gouda, and Manchego cheeses also complement its refined character. Best served at 16°C. Limited production: only 600 bottles.

RATED 4.1 ON VIVINO BY THE BOOKGUY W

"Dark purple, well balanced and soft tannins, dark fruit, especially plum and black cherry, coffee finish and pepper aftertaste. Best with game dishes, can be enjoyed alone as well."

RATED 4.2 ON VIVINO BY HRAIRK

"Wow- absolutely delicious with kofte kebabs. Medium bodied with red and dark cherries and then a fantastic oakiness from the barrel ageing. Finishes with a herbal note that lingers. Lovely."

RATED 5.0 ON VIVINO BY MARCUS REES R

"If you are looking to explore wines from Lebanon then Chateau Aurora should definitely be on your radar. They are a relatively new step up and seemed to have it off from day one. It's a Cab Sauvignon/Merlot blend that's smooth and beautifully balanced."
