Cuvée du Patron is a still, dry white wine made from 100% Chardonnay grapes grown on the Aoura hill vineyards at 900 meters altitude in North Lebanon. Aged for six months in 50% stainless steel with lees stirring and 50% new French oak barrels, this full-bodied wine boasts vibrant aromas of pear, yellow apple, honeycomb, and buttery brioche.
On the palate, it is silky and creamy, with flavors of apple, pear, butter, and subtle toast leading to a long-lasting finish. Perfectly paired with meaty fish, shellfish, poultry, or smoky dishes like grilled vegetables and nuts. Serve chilled at 10-13°C. Limited production: 900 bottles.

"This tastes nothing less than a big Pauillac for half the price, reserved nose, big full palate, dark berryfruit, hint of new oak and a length from here to Lebanon. 92/100 Classy"

"Dark purple, well balanced and soft tannins, dark fruit, especially plum and black cherry, coffee finish and pepper aftertaste. Best with game dishes, can be enjoyed alone as well."

"Wow- absolutely delicious with kofte kebabs. Medium bodied with red and dark cherries and then a fantastic oakiness from the barrel ageing. Finishes with a herbal note that lingers. Lovely."

"If you are looking to explore wines from Lebanon then Chateau Aurora should definitely be on your radar. They are a relatively new step up and seemed to have it off from day one. It's a Cab Sauvignon/Merlot blend that's smooth and beautifully balanced."
