Explore the complexity of Aurora Cabernet Franc, a still, dry red wine produced from 100% Cabernet Franc grapes. Sourced from eco-conscious vineyard parcels planted in 2009 and 2012 at 900 meters altitude in the picturesque village of Aoura, this wine embodies precision and sustainability. With dry-farming methods and a yield of just 8 grape clusters per vine, every bottle reflects the vineyard’s unique terroir.

Handpicked at the beginning of September, the grapes undergo fermentation at 22°C in stainless steel tanks before being aged for 12 months in 30% new oak barrels. After 2 years of bottle aging, this wine is released, showcasing its maturity and depth.

This medium-bodied red offers a fresh nose of red cherry and raspberry with subtle hints of cloves. On the palate, it reveals silky tannins, balanced acidity, and notes of toasted nuts and vanilla from its oak aging. With a long-lasting finish and increasing complexity as it aerates, this wine is a refined delight.

Pair it with goat cheese, brie, feta, roasted chicken, lean meats, pork, or hearty stews. Best served at 18°C, this Cabernet Franc is a sophisticated choice for any occasion.

"Dark purple, well balanced and soft tannins, dark fruit, especially plum and black cherry, coffee finish and pepper aftertaste. Best with game dishes, can be enjoyed alone as well."

RATED 4.2 ON VIVINO BY HRAIRK

"Wow- absolutely delicious with kofte kebabs. Medium bodied with red and dark cherries and then a fantastic oakiness from the barrel ageing. Finishes with a herbal note that lingers. Lovely."

"If you are looking to explore wines from Lebanon then Chateau Aurora should definitely be on your radar. They are a relatively new step up and seemed to have it off from day one. It's a Cab Sauvignon/Merlot blend that's smooth and beautifully balanced."
