Cuvée N, Sauvignon Blanc
Our estate grown Sauvignon blanc is named after the winemaker’s wife, Nathalie who traveled to the Loire valley with her husband and was inspired from Sancerre’s mineral and world renowned sauvignon blancs. This wine is a romantic gesture from the winemaker to his wife, he planted these grapes back in 2003 in the claylike limestone terroir of Aoura at 850 M altitude from the Mediterranean. The grapes are carefully selected and handpicked in the beginning of September then fermented in chilled stainless steel tanks to maintain the natural fruit aromas.
Tasting Notes
This Sauvignon Blanc begins with welcoming aromas of melon, citrus, and gooseberries. The palate is vibrant with notes of soft white flowers, wet stone, and a bright acidity ending with a lingering lean mineral finish.
