Crystal Chardonnay
From our very first vineyards in Aoura facing the Walnut River, a small parcel of Chardonnay was planted back in 2003. These vines are dry-farmed, and carefully handpicked by mid September. The grapes are picked in cool temperatures and are then fermented in chilled stainless steel tanks for optimal preservation of the fruit and freshness.
Tasting Notes
This Crystal is so layered and complex that it could take its time to portray its full range of aromas. It opens with yellow apple and honeysuckle, the mid palate is predominantly notes of pear and bananas. The finish is reminiscent of a creamy custard and a long and buttery ending.
