The Aurora Chateau is a joyous marriage of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. It is the first wine ever produced at the winery meaning these vines are the oldest, dating back to 2003. Located in a Aoura at 800 M altitude, the vineyards are built on long claylike limestone terraces overlooking the Walnut River, surrounded by a wilderness of oak and olive trees. These vines are dry farmed and carefully handpicked in the beginning of September usually at dawn and dusk to make sure the grapes are cool upon arrival at the winery
** This wine has been awarded a Gold Medal in the Gilbert & Gaillard international wine challenge 2016
